Before moving to the team based in Bursa, he produced 4.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game over four appearances in the 7DAYS EuroCup, and 8.3 points, 3.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game over three appearances in Turkey’s BSL.
Coming out of Syracuse, the Canadian international was picked with the 18th overall pick of the 2014 NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns. Following his last NBA appearance, he joined Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce Beko in 2018-19. Playing for the Raptors 905 in the G League made out his 2019-20 campaign prior to opting to once again display his talents in Turkey.
His third Turkish side has progressed to the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 thanks to winning Group F of the Regular Season. In the next round, Tofas will face Baxi Manresa and two more teams coming out of the Play-In round, NutriBullet Treviso or Lavrio Megabolt, and Hereda Sqan Pablo Burgos or Darussafaka. Domestically, the team coached by Ahmet Caki currently sits 7th packing a 9-7 BSL record.
Previous BCL experience for Ennis features participating in the 2020 Final Eight and two Regular Season games of the 2020-21 season prior to his season-ending injury.
