Hereda San Pablo Burgos are looking for reinforcement ahead of the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 play-in against Darussafaka and are pushing for the addition of forward Jarell Eddie from Strasbourg, as reported by Diario de Burgos and confirmed by Eurohoops sources.
The back-to-back BCL champs are currently in advanced talks with Eddie, who has appeared in two games for the French team this season, with an average of 15.5 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists across 19.8 minutes. He returned to action after recovering from a back injury and his two BCL displays with Strasbourg have been convincing enough to put him back on Burgos‘ radar.
Diaro de Burgos further reports that the two sides have been close to signing a contract in late 2021, though there was uncertainty about his recovery.
On Monday, Burgos also announced that Paco Olmos has been named the club’s new head coach, after parting ways with Salva Maldonado.
