Michale Kyser ranked first in the latest Top 5 edition of the Basketball Champions League.

Kyser, 30, was limited to six points in the narrow away win for Hapoel U-NET Holon against Besiktas Icrypex Wednesday. However, being on the receiving end on one of Joe Ragland’s nine assists and dunking with power earned first place in the Top 5 plays of the week.

Second place went to Central Michigan product David DiLeo. An acrobatic bucket in the third quarter entered him in the highlight reel. Missing two out of three free throws in the dying seconds prevented PAOK mateco from sending the home game opposite SIG Strasbourg to overtime or even claiming the win. The Greek side was instead eliminated from the BCL.

Back to Hapoel Holon extending its series to Game 3, Chris Johnson rejecting Kenan Sipahi made third place. In addition, he poured a game-high 18 points. At the end of the day, veteran forward Guy Pnini was the difference-maker going from 0/3 three-pointers to sinking the game-winning triple in Istanbul.

It was a rough night for Ukraine champion Prometey but Oleksandr Bielikov reached the penultimate spot of the Top 5 thanks to a superb block on a dunking attempt by Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem’s Noam Dovrat.

A block in fifth place as well. Al-Wajid Aminu stopping Matteo Imbro was enough to squeeze in the Top 5 as Lavrio Megabolt was held to the wrong end of the result against NutriBullet Treviso at Palaverde.
