After a somewhat of a slow start schedule-wise, the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 program returns to normal with eight games this week.
U-BT Cluj Napoca and Filou Oostende will open up the action on Monday (February 7th) in Group K in the Game of the Week as the Romanian team looks to continue its historic run in the competition, after beating the group-favorite Unicaja.
Speaking of Unicaja, the Spaniards went through some roster changes as well as a coaching change and will be tested against Prometey which will play its first game in the Round of 16.
Group L will play out its games on February 8th as Lenovo Tenerife tries to keep their perfect 2-0 record going against Rytas Vilnius. Meanwhile, SIG Strasbourg goes on the road to Hungary and Falco Szombathely, one of the more challenging courts.
Tofas also sits at the top of Group J with 2-0 and will have that streak challenged by Nutribullet Treviso in Italy. In the second matchup, BAXI Manresa awaits Darussafaka in Spain in an effort to return to form after COVID-19 put the team off track.
Lastly, Group I will have both games played on February 9th with Galatasaray Nef returning to court after a week off due to nine coronavirus cases. They will play against JDA Dijon. Meanwhile, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg will travel to Israel for a clash against Hapoel U-NET Holon.
