Unicaja has been on a tough path recently results-wise but they succeeded in getting an 86-70 road win against U-BT Cluj Napoca, the best underdog story in the Basketball Champions League this season.
The Spaniards also secured a tiebreak advantage as Cluj got the win last time with a six-point margin. Unicaja improved to 2-2 in Group K while Cluj still sits at the top with 3-1.
The fourth quarter was crucial in this matchup with Unicaja winning the period dominantly 30-14. Axel Bouteille finished with 21 points while Cameron Oliver scored 19.
Oliver also grabbed nine rebounds. For Cluj, Stefan Bircevic scored 17 in addition to Dustin Hogue’s 13 points. They grabbed eight and nine boards respectively.
