Pinar Karsiyaka announced that the team signed guard Kenan Sipahi for the 2022-23 season. The 27-year-old Turkish player is back with the Izmir side after 2015-2016 when he joined the team on loan from Fenerbahce.
Sipahi spent the previous season with Besiktas. He averaged 13.8 points, 4.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League, along with 11.8 points, 7.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds in the Turkish BSL League, helping Karsiyaka reach the playoffs in the latter.
Apart from the aforementioned Turkish clubs, Sipahi also played for Tofas Bursa while having stints in Spain with Real Betis and Zaragoza.
