Former Notre Dame standout Tim Abromaitis signed a three-year contract and will again become a member of Lenovo Tenerife, the team announced Thursday. The next addition was Jaime Fernandez on a three-year contract, as announced Friday.

Abromaitis, 32, was part of the squad winning the inaugural Basketball Champions League season in 2017 and a member of the Star Lineup First team in 2019. He spent four years of his career at San Cristobal de La Laguna from 2015 to 2019 and will be back after one season in Zenit and a couple of seasons in Unicaja. In his absence, Tenerife became a two-time BCL champion.

Unicaja had previously released Fernandez. The Madrid-born point guard displayed his talents in Malaga in 2018. “Thank you, Malaga! Four unforgettable years together. I keep all the good moments,” highlighted the parting message of Fernandez. Movistar Estudiantes from 2010 to 2017 and MoraBanc Andorra make out the rest of his professional career.

Unicaja, set to battle in the Champions League Qualifiers, apart from parting ways with a couple of players, completed a signing of its own in the form of Tyler Kalinoski. The 29-year-old guard penned a contract for the 2022-23 season with an option for another season.

With David Holston, Jacques Alingue, Robin Ducote, Chase Simon, and Abdoulaye Loum on board for yet another season, JDA Dijon kept Gavin Ware as well. The Mississippi State product extended his second stint at La Jeanne until next summer. Jonathan Rousselle was the first summer addition to the French BCL team.

Former Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv swingman Sandy Cohen signed a one-year contract extension with Bnei Ofek Dist Herzeliya, the team announced Friday. He is now set to debut in the Champions League.

More BCL moves as PAOK mateco landed Vassilis Christidis for the 2022-23 season and Rytas announced a long-term extension for 22-year-old Lukas Uleckas.
