Former Marquette standout Sacar Anim joined UnaHotels Reggio Emilia, the team announced Monday.
Anim, 24, played in the FIBA Europe Cup for medi Bayreuth last season. Moving his talents to Italy, the versatile guard penned a two-year contract containing team and player options for next summer. Coming out of the Golden Eagles in 2020, he turned pro as a member of the Agua Caliente Clippers in the G League before opting for Europe.
Coming in from AS Monaco, Jerry Boutsiele penned a one-year contract to become the latest addition to the squad of Bahcesehir Koleji. He carries previous BCL experience with six appearances in 2020-21 as a member of Limoges CSP.
Following the additions of Ben Shungu and Markell Johnson, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg secured the services of a third American import. Vanderbilt product Jeff Roberson was officially added to the roster of new head coach Josh King.
With Vassilis Spanoulis and Peristeri planning for the next season, Giorgos Giouzelis became the latest newcomer. The Greek forward signed a contract for the 2022-23 season with an option for a second season.
Czech sharpshooter Jaromir Bohacik inked a one-year contract to join Brose Bamberg. Also on the move, fellow Czech sharpshooter David Jelinek moved to UCAM Murcia after six years at MoraBanc Andorra.
Also, PAOK mateco signed 25-year-old American swingman Zaccheus Darko-Kelly and 26-year-old Dutch guard Yannick Franke to one-year contracts.
The 2022-23 season will start with the Qualifiers in late September. From there, the Regular Season is scheduled to tip off on 4 October.
