Peristeri lands Aleksa Radanov, Bonn gets Finn Delany

Aleksa Radanov has joined Peristeri for the 2022-23 season, the team announced Tuesday.

Radanov, 24, follows Miro Bilan, Brandon Brown, Devin Davis, Marcus Denmon, Giorgos Giouzelis, Shakur Juiston, Leonidas Kaselakis, and Stelios Poulianitis in the list of summer signings for the team coached by Vassilis Spanoulis. Besides the additions, Dimitris Moraitis penned a contract extension.

The Serbian international guard turned pro in 2015 and was loaned from Crvena Zvezda mts to FMP. Moving on after six years, he spent the 2021-22 season at Igokea m:tel averaging 7.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per contest in his first nine appearances in the Basketball Champions League. Switching to Peristeri prompts his second campaign.

New Zealand international Finn Delany signed a one-year contract to join Telekom Baskets Bonn. Apart from a stint at FMP at the end of the 2018-19 season, he has focused on the New Zealand Breakers and his hometown Nelson Giants playing in the National Basketball League of Australia and New Zealand so far in his career.

Elsewhere, FIBA Europe Cup champion Bahcesehir Koleji retained captain Oguz Savas on a new one-year contract. The Turkish center came on board last July following stints at Frutti Extra Bursaspor, Besiktas, Darussafaka, Fenerbahce, and Trabzonspor.

Coming out of San Francisco, Gabriele Stefanini inked a three-year contract with UnaHotels Reggio Emilia. He reunited with the team based in Reggio Emilia after departing in 2015 and as a teenager gaining experience in the USA, while also representing Italy in multiple junior international tournaments.
