Will Thomas has returned to Unicaja with a deal for next season and is set to make his Basketball Champions League debut with the Spanish club, the club officially announced Friday.
Thomas spent the 2021-22 season with Monaco, averaging 7.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 27 minutes across 35 EuroLeague games, as the team made the playoffs.
The veteran forward returns to Unicaja following his two-year stint between 2014 and 2016. After two years in Malaga, Thomas signed for Valencia, where he spent three seasons and added an Spanish Liga Endesa title (2016-17) and a Eurocup trophy (2018-19) to his collection.
Thomas signed for Zenit Saint Petersburg for the 2019-20 season and moved to Monaco this past offseason.
