Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem penned Zach Hankins to a one-year contract with an option for an additional season, the team announced Thursday.
Following up on his 2019-20 Basketball Champions League stint at ERA Nymburk, the Michigan-born center will also be back in Israel. Finishing the solid 2019-20 campaign at Maccabi Rishon LeZion led his career to Turkey, Australia, and Puerto Rico. Already in for Hapoel Jerusalem are Oz Blayzer, Khadeen Carrington, Or Cornelius, Gilad Levy, Levi Randolph, and Speedy Smith.
Forward Cecil Williams became the latest newcomer for Tofas. Heading to the Qualifying Rounds, the Turkish side appointing Dimitris Priftis as the new head coach, adding Tyler Ennis, Khyri Thomas, Boubacar Toure, Mustafa Kurtuldum, and Rob Gray, and re-signing Emre Tanisan and Berk Ugurlu shapes a strong bid for a berth in the Regular Season.
Fellow Qualifiers outfit, Niners Chemnitz signed Hungarian forward Marko Filipovity for the 2022-23 season. The newcomer carries the experience of 22 BCL games played between Falco Szombathely and Alba Fehervar. Egypt-born Canadian forward Aher Uguak, young German guard Kilian Binapfl, and German power forward Kevin Yebo were the previous arrivals for the German side.
After penning 18-year-old Konstantinos Bilalis, Peristeri also inked 19-year-old Dimitris Hatzis to a three-year contract. The team coached by Vassilis Spanoulis has shaped the core of the new squad with Miro Bilan, Brandon Brown, Devin Davis, Marcus Denmon, Giorgos Giouzelis, Shakur Juiston, Leonidas Kaselakis, Stelios Poulianitis, and Aleksa Radanov, and also retained Dimitris Moraitis.
Finnish champion Karhu got Kuany Kuany for the next season. The South Sudanese-Australian forward joins the squad consisting of Simeon Carter, Jaye Crockett, Daniel Dolenc, Joona Hakamaa, Eero Innamaa, Cameron Jones, Henri Kantonen, Severi Kaukiainen, Miikka Marttinen, Lee Skinner, and Teemu Suokas.
