Lenovo Tenerife signed center Moussa Diagne for the 2022-23 season, the Spanish club announced. The deal, that includes an option for 2023-24, will bring Diagne to the Basketball Champions League for the first time in his career.
“It’s the arrival of a player at the center position with proven experience in ACB as well as being a perfect complement for the players we already have at that position,” commented Tenerife general manager Aniano Cabrera, per the club. “With his [Diagne’s] addition we consider the 2022-23 squad completed.”
Diagne spent the previous four seasons with Morabanc Andorra, first joining the team on loan from Barcelona for 2017-2018. Last year, the 28-year-old Senegalese big man had 5.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in EuroCup, along with 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in the Spanish ACB League.
