Pinar Karsiyaka signed forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas, the Turkish club announced. The Lithuanian player will compete in both Turkey and the Basketball Champions League for the first time in his career.
Kuzminskas, 32, comes from a solid individual run with Lithuania in the EuroBasket. He had 10.0 points and 2.5 rebounds while his team survived a tough Group B but was eliminated by eventual champion Spain in the Round of 16.
In 2021-22, Kuzminskas played for Zenit St. Petersburg, averaging 5.0 points and 2.0 rebounds. He parted ways with the Russian club in light of the war in Ukraine.
Kuzminskas carried the experience of 10 years in EuroLeague, along with 69 NBA games.
