More Basketball Champions League is on the menu for Julian Gamble.
Gamble, 33, penned a deal with Bnei Ofek Dist Herzliya, the team announced Monday.
The Israeli club also placed Robert Carter on the injury list. The 28-year-old power forward suffered a wrist injury and will undergo surgery. He is projected to be sidelined for at least three months prompting a new addition to the squad.
Coming in to supplement the roster, Gamble will add to his experience in the Basketball Champions League. Logging 41 games played between Hereda San Pablo Burgos, Lenovo Tenerife, Nanterre 92, and Telekom Baskets Bonn paints the picture of his career so far. Last season, he made seven appearances split between Burgos and Tenerife.
Enjoying a two-year stint at Virtus Segafredo Bologna, he was crowned champion in Italy’s LBA Serie A in 2021. Back in 2013, the former Miami standout started his professional career in the second division of France and spent three years in Belgium, before jumping into the BCL and launching his career to the next level.
Gamble meets Bnei Herzliya playing alongside Peristeri bwin, Rytas, and Tenerife in Group H of the Champions League Regular Season. The team coached by Oren Aharoni lost to Peristeri in the opening week and fell to 0-1. Defeated by Ironi Taxon Kiryat Ata at the domestic level shaped the 0-1 record in Israel’s Winner League.
Other recent moves, Bnei Herzliya promoted 19-year-old Amit Schvartz to the senior squad and 16-year-old Alon Michaeli to a two-way player swinging between the senior and youth squad.
