Eight teams were aiming to start the new Regular Season of the Basketball Champions League with two wins in a row. Five were successful in Gameday 2 with Portugal champion Benfica standing out on the list.
The Eagles edging Limoges CSP secured the second win on the road and thus a solid chance to advance to the next round. Also topping Group F at 2-0 is Baxi Manresa after rolling VEF Riga.
Moving into Group C, Galatasaray Nef and Hapoel Atsmon Holon both made it to 2-0. The Turkish outfit bested Legia Warszawa and the Israel champions took down Filou Oostende.
The other 2-0 side sits in Group A as SIG Strasbourg outlasted Tofas in overtime. Elsewhere, Falco Vulcano Szombathely took down UCAM Murcia.
In Group B, AEK and Telekom Baskets Bonn dominating UnaHotels Reggio Emilia and Pinar Karsiyaka, respectively, shaped a four-way tie at 1-1.
