In the second week of the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League Regular Season, there were some more upsets and crazy turnarounds, but also some impressive personal performances.
The Basketball Champions League, joined by the Viziball Advanced Stats system, listed who had the best performances in Week 2 of the competition:
- TJ Shorts II was unstoppable for Telekom Baskets Bonn against Group B’s favorite Pinar Karsiyaka. He had 28 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds, becoming the first player with consecutive 25+ points and 5+ assists games in BCL history.
- Joe Ragland became the first player ever to record 30+ points and 10+ assists in a single Basketball Champions League game, and he did so with 31 points and 13 assists against Filou Oostende.
- Zoltan Perl has always been the fan favorite, but he went ahead of his standards against UCAM Murcia: 29 points off the bench.
- Juampi Vaulet was decisive in BAXI Manresa’s blowout win against VEF Riga. The Argentinian had 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
- Matt Mitchell had 23 points, 4 assists, 4 steals, and 2 rebounds in Strasbourg’s crazy OT victory over Tofas Bursa.
