After signing Jake Layman, and bringing back Frankie Ferrari, BAXI Manresa strengthens their frontcourt with the addition of the Estonian center, Matthias Tass.
He signed a contract for the rest of the season, as officially reported.
Tass arrives to Pedro Martinez’s squad from Polish MKS Dabrowa Gornicza, where he has played the first months of this season putting up solid numbers: 12.2 points, 6 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
The 23-year-old center started his career at Kalev, and played for the Estonian TalTech Basketball before going to the US, and spending four years at Saint Mary’s college.
On August 14, he signed for Aquila Basket Trento, but just a couple of days later was sent to Dabrowa Gornicza on loan.
Tass also wore the jersey of the Estonian national team at FIBA EuroBasket in all group phase games and represented Estonia during FIBA World Cup 2023 Qualifiers.
As the club reported, the reconstruction of its squad is completed with the signing of the Estonian big man.
Manresa has a perfect 3-0 score in the Basketball Champions League but is sitting in last place in the ACB League with only one victory after seven rounds (1-6).
