Following the incidents before AEK vs UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia game on Dec 7, the Basketball Champions League Single Judge has decided that the following sanctions shall be imposed on AEK.

The Greek club will play the next three BCL home games behind closed doors and they will have to pay a fine of 10,000 euros.

The sanctions will apply immediately, starting with the next scheduled BCL home game (AEK v Pinar Karsiyaka, Dec 21).

As reported by ERA Sport, around 20-30 fans of the Greek team moved around the stadium with hoods and attacked a few Italian fans, who followed their team on the road.

When AEK fans entered the arena, they took fire extinguishers and threw their content to the Italians, with the atmosphere becoming suffocating. They then destroyed the accounting, grabbing pieces of wood and iron to attack the Reggio Emilia fans.
