After starting the BCL season with AEK Athens, the 27-year-old small forward Nikos Persidis remains in Greece and in the competition but moves to Peristeri, where he will be coached by Vassilis Spanoulis.
Persidis has always played with Greek teams throughout his career and spent the 2019-20 season with Panathinaikos, still without playing in the EuroLeague.
After two years with Lavrio, he joined the black-and-yellow team to debut in the Basketball Champions League. So far, he has been averaging 1.5 points per game in under 9 minutes on the court.
