The 2022-23 Basketball Champions League Regular Season is way behind, and before heading to the Round of 16, eight more teams need to get their ticket to the following stage. That’s why the first game of the Play-Ins was full of intense and high-level action between élite clubs of the competition, with performances to be remembered.
On Tuesday, the first four games of the Play-Ins series were played. Rytas Vilnius opened things up by getting the upper hand with ease against PAOK, followed by Ludwigsburg’s back-and-forth victory over Limoges CSP. The most exciting games arrived late, with JDA Dijon being led by McDuffie and Holston against Peristeri, and UCAM Murcia winning a tough one against Pinar Karsiyaka despite Braian Angola’s historic night.
On the following day, Filou Oostende survived in Turkey after producing a crazy comeback, while AEK won a really tough game against Tofas Bursa behind closed doors. Darussafaka was the only Turkish team able to get a win at the beginning of the Play-Ins, escaping Lisbon with an impressive victory. Hapoel Holon had a spectacular game as well, putting on an offensive show at home against Igokea.
