The games between Darussafaka Lassa against UCAM Murcia, Bahcesehir Koleji versus BAXI Manresa, and Galatasaray Nef at Unicaja will be rescheduled, Basketball Champions League announced Monday.

Per the Basketball Champions League: “Following the devastating events in Turkey, all of this week’s Basketball Champions League games with Turkish participation have been postponed and will be rescheduled.”

The games were initially scheduled to be held Tuesday and Wednesday, among the remaining matchups of Gameday 3 of the Round of 16.

The Lions guided by Andreas Pistiolis sit at 1-1 in Group K, while the other two teams remain at 0-2 in Group K and Group L, instead of wrapping up the first half of the double-legged round-robin schedule which will eventually lead the top two teams of each group to the Quarterfinals of FIBA’s top-tier European club continental competition.

One FIBA Europe Cup contest is expected to be postponed as well with Gaziantep set to clash with HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim in Germany Wednesday.

Playing basketball can’t be a priority as more than 2,300 have died from the powerful quakes affecting Turkey and Syria as the Turkish government declared seven days of national mourning.

From the early morning, the Turkish edition of Eurohoops is on hand to help people seeking help.

After the approaching break including the next international window, the Champions League’s Round of 16 is currently scheduled to resume on 7 March with the last three rounds stretching to 22 March. At the conclusion of the current stage, a draw will determine the best-of-three series of the Quarterfinals as the standing contenders get one step away from the Final Four.
