SIG Strasbourg dominates the BCL French derby against JDA Dijon

Dominating since the very beginning, SIG Strasbourg didn’t have any problems against JDA Bourgogne Dijon, winning 86-67 in the Basketball Champions League matchup between French sides.

After leaving AEK, Tim Frazier was probably the best player on the court in his first-ever BCL game with SIG Strasbourg, ending it with 15 points and 7 rebounds.

SIG Strasbourg had other five players finishing the encounter in double-digits, with Marcus Keene and Leo Cavaliere standing out respectively with 16 and 14 points.

Markis McDuffie, who averaged 19.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in his previous five BCL games where he played 20+ minutes, was the best on his side, going close to a double-double with 18 points and 6 rebounds.

Gregor Hrovat followed with 16 points, while nobody else on Nenad Markovic’s team managed to score more than 8 points.

With this victory, SIG Strasbourg reaches Hapoel Jerusalem on top of Group I with a 3-1 record, while JDA Bourgogne Dijon stays in third place with a 2-2 record. Hapoel Holon is out of the quarterfinals conversation with a four-game losing streak.
