The first-ever Youth BCL is getting closer, with the tournament to be held from April 11 to April 15, and Bnei Ofek Dist Herzliya’s junior will have an opportunity to prove its potential against some of the best youth teams in the continent.

The coach of the Israeli team’s youngsters, Idan Lankry, claims his team’s excitement is growing as the tournament approaches.

Our players were very to hear about the tournament. Everyone is ready for the unique experience, and I’m sure there will be even more excitement towards the beginning of the tournament,” Lankry said.

Bnei Herzliya’s talents will join the hosts Lenovo Tenerife, ERA Nymburk, Filou Oostende, Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, Igokea m:tel, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, Rytas Vilnius, and UCAM Murcia.

Participating in the tournament will be an unusual experience for our players. This is a great opportunity to show our abilities as a team and individuals. To show that every coach and player that steps on the court are doing their best to win, and of course, we are also dreaming about winning the trophy, but we know it will be very hard. We are going to compete against very good teams. We will come to give our best, have fun, and be humble,” Idan Lankry added.

The captain, Or Rotem, can’t wait to put his talents on the line against some of the best youth selections in Europe.

We are all very excited. We talked about our goals and how we will support each other and be the best for our team. We also discussed which team will play against and which players will show up,” Rotem concluded.

All the participants are eagerly waiting for the first-ever Youth BCL to begin, as Hapoel Jerusalem’s, Lenovo Tenerife’s, and Nymbruk’s coaches and players previously shared.
