After the renewals of Kendrick Perry, Tyler Kalinoski, and head coach Ibon Navarro, Unicaja Malaga announced the contract extension with Nihad Djedovic.
The Bosnian forward, who occupies a position of a player trained in the country after passing through the FC Barcelona youth academy, will stay at Unicaja for the next two seasons until 2025.
Djedovic arrived in Malaga last summer from Bayern Munich, where he played for nine years.
At 33 years of age, Djedovic is averaging a solid 8,12 points, 2,7 rebounds, 1,3 assists, and 1,1 steals over the 32 games he has played in his first season at the club from Malaga.
After winning Copa del Rey, Djedovic is on the verge of the Basketball Champions League Final Four with Unicaja, as his side defeated UCAM Murcia in the first quarterfinals game.
