Following the Basketball Champions League Quarter-Finals best-of-three series, the International competition has officially announced the Team of the Month for April, when Unicaja Malaga, Telekom Baskets Bonn, Lenovo Tenerife, and Hapoel Bank Hayav Jerusalem qualified for the Final Four.
For the Israeli side, Levi Randolph headlined the five best players of the month, putting up 65 points in three games. During the month, the American small forward had 21.7 points per game with 55.0% from the field, averaging an efficiency of 19.3.
TJ Shorts has been one of the most consistent performers of the season and put up big numbers in the tough matchups against SIG Strasbourg as well. He had 19.3 points and 5.3 assists per game during the decisive encounters against the French team.
Lenovo Tenerife will have the opportunity to win the Basketball Champions League in back-to-back fashion, and Bruno Fitipaldo was a good reason why the Canarian side managed to take down BAXI Manresa, last year’s runner-up. The Uruguayan had 18.3 points per game, shooting 55.0% from three.
Txus Vidorreta’s team advanced by beating the Catalan team, but Devin Robinson still played his best games of the Basketball Champions League season in April. Averaging 15.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game against the 2022 champions, the American forward never gave up.
Finally, the Final Four hosts advanced first by sweeping UCAM Murcia, as Unicaja Malaga was the only team able to win its best-of-three series 2-0. Dario Brizuela helped Ibon Navarro’s team with 18.0 points per game in the two Quarter-Finals appearances. He went 13/23 from the field, and 5/10 from beyond the arc.
