Basketball Champions League’s MVP of April: Levi Randolph of Hapoel Jerusalem

Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem booked their place in the Basketball Champions League Final Four, and Levi Randolph was one of the key players in Aleksandar Dzikic’s team quarterfinals 2-1 victory over AEK Athens.

Over the three games played in April, the US swingman averaged 21,7 points and four rebounds for a PIR of 19,3 per game, and his heroics were awarded a BCL’s MVP of the April title.

The 30-year-old scored 12 points during the 64-55 win in Game 1, 28 in a 78-94 loss in Athens, and displayed true leadership skills in decisive Game 3 with 25 points and five rebounds in a crushing 91-51 victory that pushed Hapoel to the Final Four in Malaga.

Randolph is having a great season overall, with an average of 15 points and four rebounds for a PIR of 15,2 per game in the Champions League.

He’ll be one of the players to look out for in the upcoming Final Four in Malaga, scheduled for 12-14 May in Jose Maria Martin Carpena Hall. Hapoel will face reigning champions Lenovo Tenerife in the semifinal.
