UCAM Murcia, likely to participate in the 2023-24 edition of the Basketball Champions League, re-signed long-time player Nemanja Radovic.

Radovic, 31, inked a contract extension until the end of the 2024-25 season. Between two stints, he lasted for seven years at Murcia, before locking in for two more. From joining Universitarios in 2014 and departing three years later to return in 2020, he logged a total of 247 games played.

After resurfacing in the Champions League and reaching the Quarterfinals, his side is expected to be part of the next edition of FIBA’s top-tier European club continental competition as well. Averaging 9.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game over 15 appearances shaped the contribution of the Montenegrin forward. Efforts in Spain’s ACB Liga Endesa resulted in 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game.

Back in the 2019-20 season, Radovic introduced himself to the BCL with 9.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest over 16 games with Casademont Zaragoza. He is now heading to his third campaign.

Other former teams stretch from Spain’s Monbus Obradoiro to Mega Vizura and Vrsac in Serbia, KAOD in Greece, and Buducnost VOLI and Mornar in his home country.

Representing Montenegro at the international level, Radovic made the squad for both the 2022 EuroBasket and 2019 FIBA World Cup and got additional caps in the Qualifying Rounds of major international tournaments since completing the jump from the junior to the senior level in 2014.
