Hapoel Jerusalem announced that swingman Levi Randolph signed a contract extension with the club until the end of the 2024-25 season.
“When I first decided to come to Hapoel, I didn’t know what to expect,” Randolph said per Hapoel. “I knew that there was a coach [Aleksandar Dzikic] here who really believed in me and would try to get the best out of me every day and that he was aiming as high as possible. Add to that the history of the club and the great fan base and I immediately knew I had made the right decision.”
Randolph, 30, arrived at Hapoel in 2022 following a strong run (18.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists) with Oostende in the Basketball Champions League. Last season he posted 15.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists to make the All-BCL Second Team as the Israeli side reached the championship game. He scored 27 points in the loss to Telekom Baskets Bonn in the Final.
“Levi symbolizes who we are and who we want to be. The love, the energy, the hard work, the willingness to sacrifice for the team,” said Dzikic.
