According to Eurohoops sources, Peristeri is currently in talks with Lefteris Bochoridis, having offered a two-year deal to the former Panathinaikos player, who averaged 2.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in this year’s EuroLeague.

Also, the Greek team, which will participate once again in the Basketball Champions League, after having acquired Elijah Mitrou-Long has on its radar both Ethan Happ and Octavius Ellis. They both played with current Peristeri’s head coach Vassilis Spanoulis, back in Olympiacos.

Ethan Happ, as reported by Chema de Lucas on Movistar’s “Listos para Playoffs”, attracted the interest of both Joventut Badalona and Peristeri after averaging 12.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in 34 appearances in the ACB League.

The 30-year-old American center and Monta Ellis’ cousin, instead, is coming off a season between Guangdong Tigers and Treviso, respectively in China and Italy. According to Eurohoops sources, he’s also in talks with Peristeri to jump into the Basketball Champions League.

During the day, there have been other three moves in the BCL world. First, Hapoel Jerusalem’s captain Itay Segev left the black-and-red Israeli side after being the runner-up in the 2023 campaign, losing against Telekom Baskets Bonn in the Final Four. Joe Ragland will also leave Israel, ending his adventure with Hapoel Holon by averaging almost a double-double with 15.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game in this year’s Basketball Champions League.

Also, after saying goodbye to Terry Tarpey, who joined AS Monaco in the EuroLeague, Le Mans added the 24-year-old Selom Mawugbe, who put up 8.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game with the Rostock Seawolves in Germany. The French team, as can be read in the club’s official press release, will play in next year’s Basketball Champions League.
