Despite strong interest from Virtus Bologna, Ousmane Diop will likely stay with Dinamo Sassari, playing in the Basketball Champions League as the starting center, according to Eurohoops sources.
The 23-year-old had a great season, averaging 10.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
He has spent the last two years with Dinamo Sassari, and prior to that, he played in Italy with Alu Old Wild West Udine, Hertz Cagliari Dinamo Academy, and Real Mutua Torino.

Jajuan Johnson moves to Italy
Happy Casa Brindisi has announced that it has signed an agreement with JaJuan Johnson, which will be valid for the next two sports seasons. Johnson, a former Boston Celtic, will return to Italy and join the blue-and-white club until 2025.
Last season, Johnson played for BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in France, where he averaged 15.3 points and 4 rebounds per game.
The experienced player has previously played for various European clubs, including Pistoia, Besiktas, Cantu, Darussafaka, Lokomotiv Kuban, Bahcesehir, Bayern Munich, and Turk Telekom.
