Saying goodbye to Dario Brizuela and replacing him with Kameron Taylor, Unicaja Malaga officially announced the contract extension of the 37-year-old American forward Will Thomas, who will stay with the Andalucian team in 2023-24 as well.

Helping his team capture the 2023 Copa del Rey with 6.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.0 steals in the three games, he also had 6.0 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game in the Basketball Champions League.

Coming back to Malaga in the summer of 2022, Will Thomas already played with Unicaja from 2014 to 2016. He also played with Liege, Oostende, Pinar Karsiyaka, Scandone Avellino, Valencia, Zenit Saint Petersburg, and AS Monaco.

For one veteran staying, another is going: UCAM Murcia officially announced they will part ways with its captain Tomas Bellas after three seasons with the Spanish side. Rio Breogan, instead, signed the Lithuanian center Martynas Sajus.

Tofas Bursa announced the arrival of Austin Wiley

Elsewhere, Tofas Bursa officially announced the incorporation of the 23-year-old American center Austin Wiley, who last played in the LKL with Neptunas Klaipeda.

Coming out of college with the Auburn Tigers, Austin Wiley debuted in 2021 with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, rapidly moving to Gladiators Treviri before making the jump to Lithuania.

Averaging 10.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game, he will now debut in the 2023-24 Basketball Champions League. Tofas Bursa, which will play in Group H with Igokea, UCAM Murcia, and Bertram Yachts Derthona, also announced the arrival of JJ O’Brien, Caleb Homesley, Omar Prewitt, Zeljko Sakic, and Luke Maye.
