AEK has successfully cleared all 18 bans imposed by FIBA, allowing them to freely utilize all the players who joined the team this summer.
FIBA’s most recent update confirmed that AEK had resolved 18 outstanding cases, either through settlements or payments, resulting in the removal of corresponding bans, granting AEK the full roster they acquired during the summer.
The time constraints for club co-owner Makis Angelopoulos’ administration were tight, but once again, he successfully navigated the arrangements to ensure no issues arise with the “yellow and black” roster.
The Basket League is set to commence tomorrow, on October 7, while AEK will compete in the Basketball Champions League as well, with the FIBA international competition startin on October 17.
