Another experienced asset for Ufuk Sarica, Darrun Hilliard went for 17 points. At 22, former Duke standout Vernon Carey Jr. added 18 points, nine rebounds, three blocks, three assists, and two steals building up a game-high efficiency rating of 29.
The Belgium champions, guided by Dario Gjergja, settled with Damien Jefferson’s 17 points on the losing end of the meeting in Izmir’s Karsiyaka Arena. Matthias Tass followed with 14 points.
