The games of the opening week of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season that had been postponed due to the current security situation in Israel have now been rescheduled, following consultation with all relevant parties.
The Group G game between Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem and SL Benfica that was initially scheduled for Tuesday, October 17th has now been integrated into Gameday 10. The reverse fixture, with SL Benfica hosting Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem in Lisbon, has consequently moved to Gameday 3 and will take place on Wednesday, 8th November in the Portuguese capital (time TBC).
The Group F game between Telekom Baskets Bonn and Hapoel Holon that was initially scheduled for Wednesday, October 18th has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 1st, at 20:00 CET.
Furthermore, the Group F game between Hapoel Holon and Rio Breogan that was initially scheduled for Wednesday, October 25th, will now take place on Tuesday, November 14th (time TBC), in a location outside of Israel, that will be confirmed by the Basketball Champions League.
The Basketball Champions League family reiterates that it condemns all acts of violence and is saddened by the loss of life and destruction that has affected so many people, including some of our fans, players and coaches. Our thoughts continue to be with the families of the victims.
