The Basketball Champions League meeting between Bursaspor Info Yatirim and Hapoel Holon has been officially rescheduled for November 29. The Regular Season Gameday 3 contest was set to be played on Wednesday.

Per the press release: “The Group F game between Bursaspor Info Yatirim and Hapoel Holon that was set to take place on Wednesday, November 8 in Bursa, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 29.

The game has been rescheduled due to security concerns, following a request by Bursaspor Info Yatirim and the recommendation of the Turkish Basketball Federation.

The Basketball Champions League reiterates that the safety and security of its players, officials and fans will always remain its top priority.

The tip-off time of the rescheduled game will be announced in the coming days.”

Before the decision, the Israeli club attempted to swap venues between the Gameday 3 and Gameday 6 encounters with Bursaspor, similar to recent efforts of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. However, AEK Betsson revoking the invitation to host the team in the Ano Liossia Olympic Hall, ultimately led to the lack of a suitable home city and created further scheduling issues.

Initially preparing to travel to Bursa with limited squad options, Holon signed Arizona product Nick Johnson and Boston College product Justin Alston for the next games in Group F of the BCL Regular Season, the team announced on Sunday.

Ahmad Caver moves to JDA Dijon

A recent departure from Hapoel Holon, 27-year-old forward Ahmad Caver joined JDA Dijon to continue in Group B of the Champions League. The Old Dominion product inked a contract for the remainder of the season, the team announced on Monday.

Group C participant, VEF Riga handed a short-term contract to 25-year-old guard Jaizec Lottie and parted ways with Elijah Clarance.
