Taking the place of Skyler Flatten, who has been scoreless in his first four games in the 2023-24 Greek Basket League, PAOK has brought in the 28-year-old guard Kendall Smith, who comes back to the Basketball Champions League after four years.
Already playing in Greece last year with Kholossos Rhodes, averaging 10.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game, the American started the 2023-24 season in the Turkish second division with Cayirova Belediye, scoring 15.1 points per encounter.
The Cal State Northridge Matadors alumni previously played in the European competition with CEZ Nymburk in 2019, averaging 6.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
It’s a busy week!

From Group G to Group E, SIG Strasbourg signed Congolese forward Junior Etou as injury relief. French forward Leo Cavaliere will be sidelined for approximately three months after right knee surgery.
Etou, 29, played for Sakarya BSB in the 2018 Qualification Rounds of the Basketball Champions League. He stayed with the Turkish club and switched to the 2018-19 edition of the FIBA Europe Cup. The further continental experience was with Happy Casa Brindisi in the 2022-23 installment of the FIBA Europe Cup.
