Losing in Round 1 for Derthona’s first-ever European victory, UCAM Murcia got its revenge at home against the Italian side, even earning Group H’s first position by tying at a 4-1 record after winning by four or more points.

In front of the newest addition Marko Todorovic, brought in to replace the injured Simon Birgander, Sito Alonso’s team won 87-75 with the contribution of several key players.

Among them, Dylan Ennis was the highest scorer with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. The Troy Caupain-Dustin Sleva-Howard Sant-Roos trio combined for 34 points, and the whole team made a huge effort to score points from the opponents’ 20 turnovers (31 vs 10).

On Marco Ramondino’s team, four players ended in double-digits: Leonardo Candi and Chris Dowe with 14 points each, Tommaso Baldasso with 12 points, and finally Retin Obasohan who added 10 points.

This is the 13th straight win at home in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season for UCAM Murcia, who now stands tall leading Group H. Behind the Spaniards and the Italians, Tofas Bursa is third at 2-3 while Igokea is still winless at 0-5,
