JDA Dijon has decided to part ways with coach Nenad Markovic, offering no further comments on the matter.
Before his departure, Markovic successfully guided the team to a perfect 5-0 score in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, securing their advancement to the Top 16. However, the team currently holds a 6-9 record in the BetClic ELITE standings.
After a tenure of two and a half years, the Bosnian coach bids farewell to Dijon. Under his guidance, the team reached the Top 16 of the BCL for two consecutive seasons. In the French championship, his squad reached the semifinals in 2022 and the quarterfinals last season, securing a fourth-place finish in the standings.
As French outlet BeBasket reported first and the club officially announced, Laurent Legname took over as the new coach, returning to Dijon’s bench where he previously served from 2015 to 2021. Notably, Legname led the team to victory in the Leaders Cup in 2020.
