Coming to an end before the Play-Ins and Round of 16 stages, the Basketball Champions League Regular Season saw impressive individual performances in Week 10, where basically everything was on the line. Jayvon Graves, for example, was huge, headlining this week’s Best Five players.
The 24-year-old guard, who has been living the season of his life with 19.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game, helped MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg break AEK’s unbeaten five-game streak, pushing his team to the Play-Ins against Darussafaka by almost getting a double-double with 24 points and 8 assists.
He was joined by Dinamo Sassari’s Breein Tyree, Hapoel Jerusalem’s Levi Randolph, Peristeri’s Trevor Thompson, and Bursaspor’s Anthony Brown. The first one had a huge contribution to the Italian team’s 97-81 win over King Szczecin, putting up 26 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Both Trevor Thompson and Anthony Brown had double-doubles in their team’s victory, respectively against Unicaja Malaga (22 points and 11 rebounds) and over Hapoel Holon (26 points and 11 rebounds), while the experienced 31-year-old Israeli side’s forward led the Best Five in scoring with 29 points.
