The experienced US guard, Tim Frazier, and Promitheas Patras have parted ways after just one game together, reaching a mutual agreement.
The club officially announced the separation, citing a mutual consent termination due to a family emergency for the 33-year-old American athlete.
“The basketball club Promitheas Patras announces the mutual consent termination of its collaboration with Tim Frazier, respecting an unexpected family issue for the American athlete. We thank him for his contribution and wish him continued success in his career.”
Frazier played for Promitheas only in the game against Dijon in the Basketball Champions League, scoring eight points in about 26 minutes of action.
Last year, he also played in Greece with AEK and with Strasbourg in France, bringing with him a solid resume from his eight years in the NBA. Frazier had stints with Philadelphia, Portland, New Orleans, Washington, Milwaukee, Detroit, Memphis, Orlando, and Cleveland.
