AEK and Mindaugas Kuzminskas didn’t catch a break on Christmas. The veteran forward was injured during the game against Peristeri and the news is the worst possible.
Per the press release: The international Lithuanian forward (who was injured today in the match against Peristeri) underwent a medical examination at “Metropolitan General” where it was diagnosed that he suffered a fracture of the 4th metacarpal bone of the left hand.
New announcements on the matter will follow soon.
It’s still unclear how time Kuzminskas will stay out of action, but things don’t look good.
On top of that, AEK lost to Peristeri and after this result with AEK in the 7th spot of the Greek League standings, a possible matchup is coming in the upcoming Final Eight Greek Cup against Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.
