Any second opportunity to advance to the Round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League is in the books. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Gameday 3 of the Play-In stage completed the field for the next round. The Top 5 Plays presented by Lubelskie marks the conclusion with plenty of exciting highlights.
Providing 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists in Game 3, Marcus Denmon was spectacular in an assist to Omar Prewitt against PAOK mateco. The behind-the-back pass lifted the 33-year-old guard to first place in the weekly Top 5 en route to the Round of 16.
Another Turkish team surviving the do-or-die Game 3 challenge, Pinar Karsiyaka featured 22-year-old forward Vernon Carey Jr. adding to a brilliant campaign with a block to sit second. Hapoel Holon is through as well, including Netanel Artzi in the third spot of the Top 5.
Eliminated from the BCL, Breein Tyree of Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari and Joppe Mennes of Filou Oostende bid farewell ranking fourth and fifth, respectively.
