BCL Round of 16 Week 3 Recap: Staying perfect

At the midway point of the Basketball Champions League Round of 16, the quarterfinal picture becomes clearer but with plenty of room for adjustments. Eight games scattered all around Europe illustrated Gameday 3 action on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The most impressive showing belonged to Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem making short work of Lenovo Tenerife. From the battle of the 2-0 teams of Group K to the 0-2 sides, Pinar Karsiyaka outlasted Peristeri bwin.

In Group J, defending champion Telekom Baskets Bonn drew a 3-0 start with a road win against JDA Dijon. Also, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg jumped to 2-1 by routing Galatasaray Ekmas.

Improving to 3-0 in Group L, UCAM Murcia also sent AEK Betsson to 0-3. In the middle, Promitheas pulled away to defeat Hapoel Holon and step toward the Quarterfinals.

A similar situation in Group I with Unicaja going up to 3-0 and forcing SIG Strasbourg to 0-3. Tofas defeating Cholet set second and third seeds.
