The US sharpshooter, Craig Randall II, and Cholet Basket have officially parted ways, and the French club is already looking for his replacement.
“In line with the player’s individual objectives and the collective objectives of CB, Craig Randall II and Cholet Basket have decided, by mutual agreement, to end their collaboration. Cholet Basket is already looking for his replacement. Good luck in the rest of your career, Craig,” per the official press release.
Randall joined Cholet in November and played seven games in the Basketball Champions League, helping the team reach the Round of 16 with 18.9 points and 3.6 per game. He also recorded nine appearances in BetClic Elite, with averages of 16.1 points and 3.4 assists.
After going undrafted in 2020, the 27-year-old guard played in the G League and tried his luck briefly in Australia with the Adelaide 36ers. He returned to the G League in 2023 with the Iowa Wolves before joining Cholet Basket.
