From avoiding distractions growing up and getting attached to the sport along with his younger brother CJ McCollum to approaching the conclusion of his career, Errick McCollum shared his basketball story on the Basketball Champions League’s Bonded by Ball.
The episode featuring McCollum opening up in Izmir was shared on Friday.
The 36-year-old combo guard explained how he ‘paid his dues’ to get the jobs he wanted and to ‘wind down’ at this stage of his career.
Playing for Pinar Karsiyaka since 2022, he logged 20 appearances in the Champions League, including 12 in the ongoing 2023-24 edition of the club continental competition.
“The plan is to finish in Turkiye,” he mentioned confirming his love for the country and especially KSK supporters.
Russia, China, Greece, and Israel shaped remaining stops in his overseas career stretching to the last 12 years.
