After shining in his first season in the Italian first division with Vanoli Cremona, keeping the team alive and away from relegation, Davide Denegri moved to Derthona to make his debut internationally, in the Basketball Champions League.
Helping Cremona first find the promotion back to the LBA and then keeping it in the first division by averaging 12.4 points per game, the 26-year-old guard, who was born in Tortona and will come back home, officially changed jersey. He’s the first transfer announced by the black-and-white side.
He won the silver medal at the 2017 U19 FIBA World Cup with the Italian national team, averaging 9.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. At the U20 European Championship the following year, instead, he had 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
