After going close to back-to-back participation in the Basketball Champions League Final Four, winning the competition in 2023 and losing to Peristeri in the Quarter-Finals in 2024, Telekom Baskets Bonn is already thinking about next season.

The first reinforcement for the German club is the 25-year-old Darius McGhee, the all-time leading scorer for the Liberty Flames in college. He’s also the second-best 3-point field goal leader in NCAA history with 528 three-pointers. He overcame names like JJ Redick, Steph Curry, and Markus Howard.

Undrafted in 2023, he joined the Indiana Pacers for the Summer League and was eventually signed in October, before being waived only the following day. Joining eventually the Indiana Mad Ants in the 2023-24 G-League campaign, he averaged 7.1 points over 25 total games.
