In the rebuild of the roster on the way to the 2024-25 season and the Qualification Rounds of the Basketball Champions League, Cholet added Aaron Wheeler.

Besides hiring Fabrice LeFrancois as the new head coach, Canadian guard Stef Smith and French big Bastien Vautier were signed earlier in the offseason. The 25-year-old American combo forward became the latest confirmed newcomer on Monday. Running it back with the French club, Gerald Ayayi, T.J. Campbell, and Nathan De Sousa inked contract extensions.

Representing Patrioti Levice, Wheeler participated in the Qualification Rounds before the 2023-24 Regular Season of the Champions League, before settling in the FIBA Europe Cup, tallying 14.0 points and 7.2 rebounds per contest. At the domestic level, he stood out as the most valuable player in Slovakia, leading his side to the league and cup championships. Further professional experience was generated in the 2022-23 installment of the G League through the Windy City Bulls and the Greensboro Swarm.

Projected to debut in the BCL, fellow Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi side Aliaga Petkimspor picked up Troy Selim Sav and Mustafa Kurtuldum. Both carry experience in the league, the 25-year-old center is a veteran of 18 games with Darussafaka and the 23-year-old guard logged 20 appearances with Tofas.
