After parting ways with Vassilis Spanoulis, Peristeri bwin hired Georgios Limniatis as the new head coach.

The 53-year-old tactician spent last season at Maroussi and before that led Lavrio as head coach. He also coached youth Greek national teams and worked as an assistant at Nea Kifissia, Kymis, PAOK, AEK, and the Georgian NT alongside Ilias Zouros.

He also had a long international career as a player, playing among other clubs for Olympiacos, Panionios, and PAOK.

I am excited about the opportunity to create a team that will be attractive to the basketball community and the fans of Peristeri. We will do everything to meet the demands of the Club, and what I can promise is that we will create a team where ‘I’ is less important than ‘we’,” Limniatis said.

UCAM Murcia and David Jelinek Part Ways

David Jelínek ends his time at UCAM Murcia CB after two seasons.

The experienced Czech player joined Murcia in 2022 after spending six years at Andorra and was part of the most successful season in the club’s history, marked by taking third place at the 2024 BCL Final Four in Belgrade and making it to the 2023/24 ACB Finals.

Jelinek started his career in 2006 with Brno and played for Joventut, Prat, Olin Edirne, Baskonia, Krasnye Krylia, Usak Sportif, and Anwil Wloclawek.

Derthona Adds Point Guard Tommy Kuhse

Bertram Derthona announces that they have reached an agreement with Tommy Kuhse, a point guard born in ’98 who played last season in Germany with Rasta Vechta.

We are happy to welcome Tommy Kuhse to our team. This is a player returning from an excellent season in Germany and who can boast a career in great growth season after season,” said Marco Picchi, President of Bertram Derthona. “Kuhse is a player capable of creating for himself and his teammates and, being a point guard, represents an important piece in building next season’s team.”

Kuhse had a great 2023/24 season in Germany, averaging 17.9 points and 5.8 assists.

The 26-year-old US guard went undrafted in 2022 after spending five years at Saint Mary’s College and played a season with Austin Spurs in the NBA G League, before joining MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in 2023, and subsequently moving to Vechta.
