James Palmer Jr. officially joined Galatasaray Ekmas on Saturday. The 27-year-old American guard penned a one-year contract, the team announced, confirming a report by Eurohoops. After playing in the 7DAYS / BKT EuroCup over the last two years, between spells with JL Bourg and Turk Telekom, he will resurface in the Basketball Champions League, carrying the experience of six games played with Arged BM Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski in the 2021-22 installment of the BCL.

On Thursday, the Lions also confirmed the addition of Ebuka Izundu. The 27-year-old Nigerian center penned a one-year contract with an option for an additional season. He has featured in 12 Champions League affairs, spread between EWE Baskets Oldenburg, FMP Meridian, and SIG Strasbourg. David Efianayi previously emerged as the first off-season move for the Istanbul outfit.

A BCL newcomer, Wurzburg Baskets opened summer signings with Fabian Bleck. The 31-year-old German forward spent the last five years with Hakro Merlins Crailsheim. After playing in 26 games of the FIBA Europe Cup over the last two seasons, he is heading to an upgrade to the top-tier club continental competition of FIBA Europe.

The team controlled by Marc Gasol, Girona, is expected to debut in the Champions League, possibly through the Qualification Rounds. After retaining Fotis Katsikaris as the head coach, the ACB participant picked up Al Durham and Juan Fernandez for the next season.

Also projected to represent the ACB in the Qualification Rounds, MoraBanc Andorra inked Chumi Ortega to a two-year contract.
